Rams 37 - Ravens 7

Rams 37 - Ravens 7 Empty Rams 37 - Ravens 7

Following the Rams opening drive TD when the Ravens spread the field out and hit TEs Todd Heap and Ed Dickson for big gains on consecutive plays it looked like the Rams v Ravens game could be a classic match-up. This looked even more the case when Reggie Bush was hit in stride deep in Rams territory. Sadly (for me) in spinning into a tackle Bush fumbled and the ravens lost possession.

It quickly became 13 - 0 then, 20 - 0. Playing from behind the Ravens at least were able to move the football but never with the deadly precision of the Rams.

Avery is clearly the go to man. Even when doubled he was normally open but the rams varied up the offense.

A third down % of 85.5% vs 14% demonstrates the difference in the teams.

Full credit to Curtis. (Its much more fun to call him the 'Rams owner' because it makes him sound evil) Also it should be pointed out that upon raising the white flag late in the third both teams ran the ball to kill the clock.

Next week the Ravens (5 - 7) have the Seahawks (5 - 6)(Flacco's return), while the Rams (7 - 5) play the risky giants (2 - 9).
