Week 6 Lines
Firstly, apologies for not finishing off last weeks lines completely. I was a late addition to the Brisvegas bookies, and my work held me from dilvering a full set of lines. HOWEVER, the lack of 3 lines was made up for by completely nailing the lines and personal choices within, so I'm COMIN IN HOT with this weeks lines. And here, they, are:
Giants (1-3) vs Cowtrolls (4-1) - Cowboys by 13.5 (Cowboys by 14)
This line may inflate to anywhere between 15 an 20 if Jeff is able to sucker another fool, erm, I mean pull off another trade before the deadline hits and before the game. But honestly, no way the Cowboys lose this game after losing their first last week.
Eagles (1-3) vs Packers (3-2) - Packers by 3.5 (Eagles by 20)
Scotty Bins is getting the bounces this season, but I say the Eagles prove too difficult this week. I just can't see the Eagles going 1-4, and in fact I expect both of these teams to make a little noise in the coming weeks.
RIVALRY MATCH - THE UNDERPERFORMANCE BOWL
Pats (2-3) vs Dolphins (2-3) - Dolphins by 2.5 (Pats by 18)
Tough match between two underperforming rivals. Whilst the Dolphins have the edge on paper, I have to go with the Pats this week, but it will be close.
Buccs (4-1) vs Rams (0-4-1) - Buccs by 14.5 (Buccs by 27)
The Buccs be steam-rolling this season, and the Rams..... stemacleaning. The Buccs have wins over the Panthers, Saints, Bills and Falcons, but perhaps they haven't been truly tested yet. Without offense to Stein-e-bot, the Rams shouldn't pose any problem to the Buccs, given that their only positive result, a draw, was CPU controlled.
Chargers (3-3) vs Ditans (4-2) - Ditans win 38-17
Quick recap. Ditans wanted them some Nile "The Tide" Turner going into the draft. They didn't get him, the Chargers did, and the Ditans made them pay. If you can't join them, beat them, injury style. Great game, but the Ditans are gaining steam, and actually playing offense this season. Watch out league.
Steelers (3-2) vs Jets (0-4) - Steelers by 12.5 (Steelers by 49)
Ahhhh, newcomers. Jason meet Jamarcus Austin, rookie-named QB of doom. Jason, meet 0-5, convincingly. Steelers will run away with this one, likely with a coupel of QB scrambled out of the pocket. They still seem to be made of glass, which make me wish me injury-enducing Ditans could smash heads with the Steel.
Seahawks (3-1) vs Saints (4-1) - Saints by 6.5 (Saints by 7)
Why such a big line BrisVegas? Because dem Saints are hot right now. And Chris Cooley is injured. And as much of a great story the Seahawks early-season run is, I don't see it going too much further. Saints to win, but only by 1-2 TD.
Falcons (2-2) vs Panthers (1-3) - Falcons by 6.5 (Falcons by 34)
The Falcons are getting the nob for Gamblor AC in this one, mostly because the Panthers are without 2 CBs for the game, which is gonna hurt. Hard to see where both of these teams are headed - the dreaded .500 zone?
Lions (3-1) vs Bengals (2-2) - Lions by 4.5
What is going on with the Bengals? I expected them to make some noise this season, but instead they are reeling at 2-2 and a loss to Lion Brian looks just as likely as a win. I feel like OMGitsTheBengalseat's season is looking like Amy Winehouse in late June... not good, not good at all. This game could be rehab or a bottomless pit of heroin for the Bengals.
Broncos (3-2) vs Jaguars (1-3) - Broncos by 11.5 (Jags by 14)
The Broncos bite has certainly worn down after munching on all of those..... things..... nevermind. This is the type of game that our fearless leader Zuniga lets slip through his grasp and potentially loses. I hope, for Rich's sake, that it is. But I'm not going to bet on it. Broncs to win, but by les than the line. GO RICH!
Chiefs (3-2) vs Redskins (1-4) - Chefs by 7.0 (Redskins by 3)
Chefs on paper, 'skins to win though. Kat has taken enough shit this season and this is the turning point. It has to be, otherwise she's going to take AP and Puz and have them over for Star Fox 64 parties on game day for the rest of the season. FACT.
GAME OF THE WEEK - THE SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN BOWL
49ers (0-4) vs Cardinals (1-3-1) - Cardinals by 3.5 (Cards by 6)
While the Cards are favourites, I'm tipping a first win upset for the 49ers here. Sorry UK Dan, but Patrick Willis has me in a headlock and forcing me to write this. OWWWWW. Sorry Pat, won't say that I'm being held hostage.....
Vikings (2-3) vs Bears (4-1) - No Line
Why? Because I reserve the right to not give a line or game description when I don't want to. Just as certain players are free to run certain plays whenever they want to. And that is all I want to say about that.
GAME OF THE WEEK II - THE GAME THAT AC WILL WIN EITHER WAY
Texans (3-1) vs Colts (3-1) - Texans by 3.5 (Texans by 3)
The Texans get the nod here, because they just robbed Ed Reed from some sorry leaguer. If Suszek and Solly were to meet in person they may just bargain each other into taking a home loan out for each other, trading them the collection of lint from BOTH JACKET PACKETS before deciding that they were both getting the raw end of the deal, slapping in other across the face, and walking away from one another saying 'GOOD DAY SIR" at competitive levels of volume. So yeah, Texans in a close one.
Fuck I'm good. Look at how close some of these lines have been. And where the lines aren't close, look at the winner I predicted.

Re: Week 6 Lines
Due to the vacation, I've missed my last two games and will miss this week's and maybe next week's as well. Not sure this changes the odds, but whatever. Can't hurt to be on the up and up!
