NBA2K11 League

I want to start a league for NBA2K11. It will be a shortened season and we will play at a slightly slower pace than our Madden 11 league. Also, I don't plan on making the playoffs since I will be the owner of the Timberwolves. Ok, so maybe I could make the 8th seed in the West if I can pick up Iverson off of free agency. Who wants in?

Also, we would need to decide whether it would be a 360 or PS3 league. Maybe even PSP since it is only $20 at retail for PSP and $20 on PSN.

I'm in with the Clippers.

I'll go PS3 or PSP. We might be the only PSP league to be formed ever. Actually I am constantly surprised going online with my PSP on how many people are playing their PSP online. Surprising it is a lot for a handheld.

I will look into this when I get home.

As for Commiseratng, I am game. I will need some1 to fill in for me from time to time though.

Once Ford is done traveling, we will begin play. It would be nice if we had a few more people. Can you guys do some recruiting?

Playoff Teams: 8 (I am guessing this is 8 per conference)
Season Length: 30 (Seemed like a good starting point, a 20 game season could have some unwanted tie-breakers)
Round Interval: 6 days (not too sure what to make of this, we can adjust this if needed)
Quarter Length: 7 min (5 or 6 didn't seem long enough)
Sim Quarter Length: 7 min
Flex Schedule: On (could make setting up games to play easier)
Fantasy Draft: Off (I would have no problem changing this)
Trading: On
Trade Deadline: On
Conference Semifinals: Best of 5
Conference Finals: Best of 7
Finals: Best of 7
Custom Game Sliders: Off

Please do not take any team that has already been claimed. I am looking forward to having a ball in this league!

Can I suggest a few changes to keep things moving a little bit quicker?

QTR length down to 6 mins, as well as sim QTR length.

And making the playoffs either 3-5-5, 3-5-7, 5-5-5, or 5-5-7. If that makes sense.

Can it still be changed?

I will make the adjustment later on when get home. If I can not, I will delete the league and recreate it.

I made an attempt to input the changes requested by Aussie Chris, but the 2k servers were down. After I get back from the hospital later I will try again.

I have made the changes as requested by Aussie Chris. Now all I need is for you all to join the league.

Has anybody taken their teams yet? I am away from my 360 @work so I can't tell. I will take a look when I get home.

Really? Did you at least get a good trade in value for it, or did you give it away/let a friend borrow it? If you want to rejoin at some point, I am sure you could pick it up used for cheap. I mentioned the NBA2K11 league on episode 36 of the sportsanomaleaguers podcast so we will be getting this league going very soon.
