Week 3: Dolphins Outlast Pats and Lag

Dolphins beat Pats, 14-7. The lag time nearly beat both of them. It was largely responsible for poor kicking, a bevy of interceptions, and numerous F-bombs from the combatants during the game.

Pats shutdown Charles early on; then Charles's torn hamstring shutdown him for the next 6 weeks. Rookie David Grissom tried to do his best Coverboy impression, but it was primarily the Dolphins D, led by two INTS from nickel back Mike Richardson that helped the Phins come away with a narrow victory.

The Dolphins welcome the Browns next week, while the Pats take on the Seahwaks.

Got any plans for a Charles replacement?

Yeah, this was one of the more grueling games I've played. As I mentioned on the show, I just never got into a rhythm on offense. Kudos to Chris for all those picks, though. He made Brady pay.

A shame our first go at the game didn't work out. It was 7-7 with about 2 min to go in the first half when the game dropped, and at least from this biased opinion, I think we both were in a better groove on offense.
