Titans V Dolphins (Week 12) & Titans V Chargers (Week 11)

The Tennessee Titans (Formerly known as the 99ers, pre-Jared Allen
season-ending injury) have finally decided to pull their season together
know that it marginally doesn't matter.

Despite potentially robbing themselves of better draft positions, the
Titans are still shooting for a 10-6 record and hoping like hell that
the Bradford-led Colts choke on multiple occasions down the stretch.

This past week, Chris Johnson and the Titans took on the leagues highest
rated running team, the Jamaal Charles-led Dolphins. It was a case of
ebony and ivory for the teams running games, as CJ2K has 124 yards and 2
TD's on 17 attempts, whilst Charles was held to 50 yards and a single
TD on 17 attempts. The reason for the Dolphins running woes? Rookie
Deshun Ivory, back from injury, Ivory had 6 tackles, all for loss of
yards, and was the key to the Titans rush defense.

Paired with his Baby-consuming half brother Kendall "It's Gonna Rain"
Weatherspoon, Ivory made his comeback felt hard, as the Titans Defense
held the dolphins to 157 total yards, compared to 312 yards themselves,
and allowed only 1 3rd down completion all game, from 9 attempts.

Chad Henne and Vince Young had classic "Henne" and "Young" games, both
proving to be as effective as a turd in a swimming pool. Both completed
less than 15 passes, threw for under 170 yards, and threw a pick each.
The game's only passing TD came from Young, who again found Owen
"O-Face" Daniels. Daniels is having one of them seasons, with 10 TD's so
far.

Late in the game, Dolphins fans started hurtling insults towards Vince
Young, labeling him as 'spineless" for not throwing more than he did.
The insults were in poor taste, as Young left the game in the 4th
quarter with a Herniated Disk, and will likely miss the rest of the
season. Youngsters Luke Kenny and Stephen McGee are fighting it out for a
starting spot in week 13. Rumors around the Titans camp are that Brian
Hoyer may be the sneaky pick off the Free Agency for the starting job.

The week before, the Titans destroyed the San Diego, SUPER CHARGERS
56-21, on the back of a massive running game by Chris Johnson (16 att,
232 yards, 3 rush TD's) and Kenarious "Auspicious" Fluellen (10 att, 83
yards, 1 rush TD, 1 rec TD). Owen "Show You my O-Face" Daniels had 7
catches for 73 yards, including 2 TD's, raking in the majority of Vince
Young's throws.

Phillip Rivers continued to prove how big of a dick he was, by throwing
for an impressive 395 yards on 20 for 31 passes, but threw 2 vital
picks. The game was just about over at HT, with the scores at 35-14, but
the Titans left all members of the crowd happy, especially Dave
Dameshek, by letting the one and only Legadu Naanee score a TD with
little time remaining.
