Madden Ratings, Offline Roster, Preseason

I intend on doing something more in-depth, but this is a simple digest I found recently on what these player ratings mean. We have resident experts (like Super Bowl Champion John from the Bears) that will surely help us understand what all the ratings mean. Sounds as though there are a surprising amount that only really count when the players are computer-controlled or for sim games.
Also, while we don't have the option to easily download our teams, I encourage you to go to your 360, save a second roster (I just named mine "league"), and then recreate your team offline. Then save it, and load that roster anytime you want to practice offline with your team. For my rookies and rookies from last season, I create my players and plop in all the necessary stats. It takes some patience, but it's amazing how much it may help you. For example, I just finished creating and testing out my new acquisition at HB, Earl Bowman. I must say, his 96 speed and 99 trucking might push him right into the #1 spot, he's a monster.
Lastly, there's the topic of "preseason" games. We don't actually have a preseason, so remember that once you play and complete your game for Week 1, it's done. Wait until the week has started to complete your games. But if you and you opponent schedule a time to practice your game against one another as a "preseason" game, feel free to do so, but be sure to QUIT prior to the game's completion.
I'm hoping to bring more goodies to help us all be better players. Let's start posting tips, pointers, and strategy on the forums to make urrybody step they game up!

What a worthless post. Not by you Suszek, but by whoever did the original.
Pass Block Footwork (PBF): The pass blocker’s ability to use his feet to run block.
What does flying mean? It means being able to fly. DUMB

Agreed. Some things are a little helpful, but there's a hefty amount of garbage here. Like I said, I want to do more, and thought this *might* help a few people.
With blocking footwork, I believe it is how well a blocker finds and establishes a block, one for the pass, one for the run. Blocking strength is how well/how long they maintain that block, I think.
