MLB2k11 Demo Impressions

I've only had the chance to play one game, but so far, it didn't seem radically different from 2k10. The Fielding did seem more dynamic, and the shadow that tells you where the ball is going seems to disappears a lot faster. Also gone are superhuman infield dives from every player. Throwing is a lot harder, it's more of a flick than holding the stick like last year.

Most of the improvements I'm looking for aren't things that a demo can show, so the jury is still out, but the core gameplay seems solid.

This is actually available in Australia so I am going to check this out!

Man this game is ugly. U-G-L-Y it ain't got no alibi, it ugly.

Literally or figuratively? I think it looks quite good, not perfect, but not abysmal, which is great when it's the only XBox option.

I am probably going to pick this up. I have asked for a baseball game to be released in Aus so I need to support it

You want to try and play in the league? I know Aussie lag may be a concern, but we can check that out when the time comes.

i like that it actually matters if you screw up a throw or have a bad fielder. Tejda sucks and you can tell when you try to turn two with him. It isn't easy to hit homers this year. I do feel that the other team can jump on u quickly if you don't mix up your pitches.
