Chargers End the Dirty Bird Upset Tour

The red hot Chargers were prepared to play against the recent upset specialists Hotlanta Falcons. After beating the Katskins and upsetting the Colts somehow disguised in KEYStone light costumes (I don’t even know what that means but it happened), the Dirty Birds were looking to take down the Chargers in San Diego.

With Atlanta methodically eating away the clock, Penis Rivers decided there was no time to be wasted and went into douchebag pass mode. The first quarter ended with no scoring by either team. Early in the second the Chargers would eventually find the end zone on a short Matthews’ run. Chargers 7-0. On the next drive the Falcons would eat up nearly six minutes only to end on the drive with a field goal, 7-3 Chargers.

With just about a minute left in the half, the fans were waiting for a Rivers to Lincoln last second score. However, Lincoln’s youth and inexperience would hurt the Bolt’s drive in the end. Penis had a perfect pass to Lincoln with just one defensive back to beat for an open field into the end zone. Lincoln jumped up for the ball and would bobble around for it and dropped the pass ending the half, 7-3 Chargers.

In the third quarter only one score would occur, a fumble by Matt Ryan recovered by Larry English who would then return it for six; 14-3 Chargers. The Falcons would continue with their game plan of eating away the clock to keep the Chargers potent offense off the field as long as possible. They would kill out time in the third quarter allowing no other scores. Early in the fourth, the Falcons would get another field goal making it 14-6 Bolts.

On the next Chargers possession, Lincoln would make up for his dropped pass at the end of the first half by catching a 67 yard pass from Rivers; 21-6 Chargers. Atlanta would score quickly on the next drive, realizing time was running out. Matty Ice would hit rookie tight end Kane for a 42 yard pass. The score would be 21-12 Chargers as the Falcons would fail on a two point conversion. This would be the last score of the game.

The Chargers defense were able to contain their old teammate, Michael Burner Turner to just 44 yards on 18 attempts for the game. When Matty Ice had the chance to pass he connected with rookie tight end Kane plenty of times as the Bolts defense were locked in stopping the run only and containing Dancing with the Stars winner Hines Ward. This in the end would hurt the Falcons as they just didn’t have enough time as their offense got into a groove to make a come back.

Final Score: 21 - 12 Chargers.

Ignoring the score, this was a really fun game to play Marcus. You had me really worried for pretty much the whole game that you might make a comeback as I was struggling covering your tight end. The Falcons upsetting other teams was definitely no fluke.
