Your Team's Potential
After the trade deadline passed, I noticed that I have quite a few young studs with tons of potential. It's really too bad that we might only play out one more season. Anyways, I made a list of the guys I believe are (and in some cases, would be) up-and-coming superstars on my team. Here are my young studs...
"A" Potential Players:
90 OVR QB Matthew Stafford: 25 y/o
90 OVR OLB Keith Rivers: 27 y/o
89 OVR RB Jonathan Stewart: 26 y/o
89 OVR TE Jermaine Gresham: 25 y/o
88 OVR OLB Rey Maualuga: 26 y/o
87 OVR MLB James Laurinaitis: 26 y/o
85 OVR DT Domata Peko: 28 y/o
79 OVR WR Jordan Shipley: 27 y/o
I'd love to see these guys keep going and finishing their careers.
What's your teams outlook for the fake future?

Re: Your Team's Potential
Katskins are a team in their prime. Most players are in their late 20s. No rookies because I've focused on acquiring players who can contribute immediately. Given that all of them are locked down under contract and are still relatively young, this is a team that could probably very competitive for the next five years. Tons of cap room (90+) also gives the Katskins plenty of room to keep together the core while adding in new pieces.

I don't see the problem with including a couple guys who are 30 and 31. It's not like they're going to drop dead in two seasons.
Also, how long til your next fire sale?

Oh, Chris. Misleading as usual.
Yes, others made trades because they're GOOD at trading. You frequently, desperately put players on the block then never worked out terms with others. Then you pretend you have this almighty team that just moments before you were ready to trade off.
So yes, when IS your next fire sale? Also, any bids on zero players being traded at that point?
Re: Your Team's Potential
Yes I repeatedly reminded teams I was WILLING to trade. However, I refused to accept a horrible trade. I refused to trade my players for 80 cents on the dollar. In fact, right now I'm going to out Kat for the fucking ridiculous trade offer she made.
This made my blood boil:
Mike:
(EDITED)
No, you're not going to do that. Because that's shitty.

Re: Your Team's Potential
Yep, I lowballed you. But then, I was pretty lukewarm on Super Mario to begin with. See, unlike you, I'm actually pretty happy with my team, and I wasn't about to tear apart a good thing for one guy. I certainly wasn't about to trade DRC for Mario, which is a fricking laugh riot if there ever was one.
It's pretty hard to get value for AAA talent in this league unless you're prepared for a wholesale makeover (see: Bengalseats). My guys are in it for the long haul.

I didn't even look, but it involved Mario Williams and DRC?
DRC is one of the best corners in the game. Mario Williams is a pass rusher (mediocre tackle and block shedding. I'd run right at him all day!).
Re: Your Team's Potential
For fun, I'm listing every A and B potential player I have, for better or worse:
A potentials:
WR Andre Johnson (98) 32 yrs old
WR Santonio Holmes (89) 26 yrs old
WR Anquan Boldin (87) 33 yrs old
RT Eben Britton (91) 26 yrs old
RE Will Smith (86) 32 yrs old
ROLB DeMarcus Ware (93) 31 yrs old
ROLB Brandon Hiller (88) 23 yrs old
CB Nnamdi Asomugha (96) 32 yrs old
CB Cortland Finnegan (91) 29 yrs old
SS Aspha Savage (94) 24 yrs old
P Michael Koyack (88) 24 yrs old
B potentials:
WR Lenoy Tucker (80) 23 yrs old
FB Carey Johnson (80) 24 yrs old
FB Arthur Costa (7) 22 yrs old
TE James Casey (79) 29 yrs old
C Kyle Cook (83) 30 yrs old
C Justin Hartwig (73) 34 yrs old
LG Evan Mathis (77) 31 yrs old
RG Igor Olshansky (77) 31 yrs old
LE Ryan McBean (77) 29 yrs old
LE Jonathan Fanene (71) 31 yrs old
DT Jovan Haye (81) 31 yrs old
DT Trey Lewis (76) 28 yrs old
DT Earl Mitchell (74) 26 yrs old
MLB Titus Ridder (84) 24 yrs old
MLB Dannell Ellerbe (75) 27 yrs old
MLB Keyaron Fox (69) 31 yrs old
CB Sam Shields (76) 25 yrs old
CB Sherrick McManis (72) 25 yrs old
FS Brandon McGowan (68) 30 yrs old
SS Melvin Bullitt (83) 28 yrs old
K Neil Rackers (77) 37 yrs old
I'm including every one, no matter how old they are, because I'm not trying to paint a specific picture of my team. Andre, being 32 in the league, is still at a ripe, young age. Look at most elite WRs in the NFL, and they're still kickin' at 35. Donald Driver just helped the Packers get to and win (prior to injury) the Super Bowl, and he's 36. Still got it in him, though he will retire in the upcoming years. So in the league, I expect Andre to stick around and stay as excellent as he is.
Bones isn't even on this list, as he's a C potential. I just hope his stamina and carrying stats increase into the next season.

I've noticed through the seasons that stamina never goes up. Carrying might increase a little, though.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. Stamina, injury, and toughness almost never change. I've seen it change once, maybe twice compared to standard rosters.
Guess I'll keep splitting carries. He tires out so quick!
