Packers Defense holds strong against Bucs, wins 20-13
The Packers defense was the difference in an otherwise even battle of the Bays.
The Bucs opened the scoring early on a crazy clutch play from RB Frank Gore. The ball was tipped in the air by the Packers secondary and bobbled around until Gore came running in to catch it and took it 74 yards for a TD.
F. Gore 74 YD TD
The Packers first drive was a long methodical one topped off by BJ Askew punching it in from the 1 yard line.
The Bucs would get 2 FGs while holding the Pack to no more points to go ahead 13 - 7 at the half.
Packers were held to a FG on thier opening drive, and then the defenses really stood up, but it was the Bucs defense that broke, allowing the Packeres to work downfield and Rodgers to find Jordy Nelson on a quick 8 Yd TD strike.
The Bucs following drive was shot by a overthrown Carson Palmer pass, right into the arms of safety Nick Collins, the Packers would only be able to turn it into a FG to go up 20 - 13.
The Bucs had the ball, all of thier time outs, and two minutes to tie the game, the Packers defense bent, but did not break, stopping the Bucs on the 1 yard line as time expired to win the game.
