Re: Draft Round 1
With the final pick in the first round, the Buffalo Bills select....
Kameron Bryant, RT 80. He asked for o-lineman, and he got one, with 97 run block strength and 85 awareness!
Second round is next!

The Bengals now start their run of 3 picks in the next 8 with another middle linebacker.
Without further ado, with the 31st overall pick, the Bengalseats select:
MLB Cordell Shedrick out of Tulsa (67 OVR)
Shedrick's key stats: 82 speed, 93 accel, 94 jump, 94 hit power, 84 block shedding, 84 pursuit, 82 man coverage, 83 zone coverage, 98 injury
Chiefs are up next.
I kind of feel like an idiot that I passed this guy up. Wehby will be great all around the field (albeit slow), but this is a great coverage linebacker.
EDIT: Bills have actually been on the clock.

Anyone been in tough with the Chiefs?

He was available but no longer since you got him. Eagles Ditans on the clock!
And btw: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtHqtUcjGRPfdFlzUFZSMVp2Wms1SkhqLVlBMnk1Ymc&hl=en_US&authkey=CMGX7a0O
sorta live draft board of who is still available. I'll be able to keep it regularly updated until Thursday, hopefully the draft doesn't take that long.

Ravens take FB Dylan 'Waku' Jakubiec.
I hope he hasnt been taken, just read the thread and cant see him taken on emails, and hope he's not of the WIKI.
Alternative vote being emailed to Mike.

In a league where CBs rule, Pierce wondered why he was left on the board so long. Could it be To__'s door to door selling of Obama to New Yorkers has soured this Madden world to right wing support?

Re: Draft Round 1
The Texans take MLB Wes Wehby 72 OVR with the 26th overall pick in the draft.
I had to write down the stats of Wehby compared to another, faster, higher awareness LB to see who I should get. Narrow victory for Wehby, but I love his coverage and finesse moves, regardless of that 79 speed!
The Raiders are on the clock.

Following a string of converting CBs to Safety, the Vikes select:
Martinez Pierce - 72 - C - 1st - 97 SPD, 81 ZCV, 59 PRS, 99 Palin Love
-5'10" 185
and convert him to play SS. What is this world coming to? Oh right, the end of Madden 11!

Re: Draft Round 1
Niners pick QB Kenneth Quigley, 78 overall, who I'm cursing and hope he shatters his collarbone this season for his owner's insistence on silently drafting on the Wiki.
Saints pick ROLB Axel "Rose" Ofori, 76 overall.
Vikings on the clock AGAIN.

Re: Draft Round 1
Maybe I missed an email and am not finding it but it looks like the 49ers picked QB Kenneth Quigley. It's listed on the wiki but I don't see it announced here or in emails... So does that mean saints on the clock now?

Re: Draft Round 1
After this was proclaimed via email:
thomas r. wages jr. to 4thsl
show details 5:16 PM (6 minutes ago)
"Sorry All I got tied up at work.
The SF 49ers select DT Ronald Thomas 84 overall.
Tom Wages
GM SF 49ers"
The Vikes select HB/FB:
Jamal "Lazarus" Lewis
After the rock in front of the tomb of his once great career is removed and the "mummy wrap" is replaced by a purple and gold jersey, Mr. Lewis is set to go salmon fishing with the owner. Then it is off to train at the dog mushing academy. What can I say, we would train in our igloo, but it melted a few months ago.
Seahawks 49ers on the clock.

Re: Draft Round 1
As a courtesy to the rest of the league, it might be a good idea to mention for the 10 millionth time: MAKE A DRAFT BOARD.
If you are new to the league, it is totally understandable that you need time to figure this out, but, for example, if you have been in the league for several seasons and you may have several picks in the 1st round, you may want to make a draft board.
It's not a matter of being impatient, it's a matter of courtesy to the rest of the league...a lot of whom have made boards. I've made two already and my most recent one only took me 15 minutes on my lunch break.
If you think your pick may come up tomorrow, take some time tonight before you watch Teen Mom and brush your teeth to pick out maybe five or six guys who you think might look fancy in your team uniform. Just a suggestion. Don't sleep on the league.
