Babyseat Loves Music And So Can You!
I started this as a way to share my love of music with all of you. I will post various bands that I like in here.
This won't be just one genre of music. This goes across all genres.
Enjoy and comment!

My first post is some hip hop -- Tyler, The Creator. This dude is great. I feel like this would be something Earl "Bones" Bowman of the Houston Texans of Milwaukee would do. In fact, I hear he's spittin' on the next EP.
If you listen to his lyrics, they bring out an honesty that isn't heard in a lot of hip hop today. Check it out.

Some great Australian music
Allow me to introduce you to some great Australian music -
First, proving that you can rap in an Australian accent, Hilltop Hoods
Second, a band that could have been bigger than INXS if they decided to try & make it overseas, Powderfinger
Third, an important band that some of you may have heard of. Its lead singer is now a Government Minister, Midnight Oil

Re: Babyseat Loves Music And So Can You!
I can help contribute to this. My iTunes is at about 10K songs, so I'm sure that I have SOMETHING that people would like
Hip-Hop:
MF Doom/Madlib Project. Essential hip-hop.
Kind of "out there" spacey hip hop.
An "instrumental" turntablism/double bass joint.
Beatles/Wu-Tang Clan mashup.
Electronic:
French-House, awesome.
Ambient, little fluffy cloud-core.
I might post some more later.

Re: Babyseat Loves Music And So Can You!
I want to contribute four clips to this thread.
The first is by Rodrigo y Gabriela. If you dont know these two, they're two acoustic guitar players from Mexico, discovered busking in Dublin and wowing millions with their original songs and covers of Metallica, Zeppelin etc..
The next is a great band from Melbourne, Australia called Electric Mary. These guys are extremely solid and I've enjoyed their albums and EPs a hell of a lot. I am harassing them to visit the UK the next time they tour Europe.
This band is Illuminatus, from Nottingham, England - a great guitar band that has toured a lot and just released their second album
And my last is an indulgence - Muse closing their set at Glastonbury in 2004. I believe they are the best live group and most creative group in the world. The fact they were this good seven years ago says it all.

Another hip hop song this time featuring The Cool Kids. Love the old school vibe and the fact that this song is about bikes.

Just saw this band, Into It. Over It., last night with Mansions and Ace Enders (of The Early November fame). Evan is a great musician and a great friend of mine. Dig this shit.
