PBWorks Dead? Empty PBWorks Dead?

If this is the case, are we going to move all the data from the PBWorks page to somewhere on here? Or split it between here and League Manager?

I'm not sure what the best route is here. I like the idea of consolidating everything, but I believe the Wiki is valuable for some things.

Having static, editable pages like the Wiki offers is better than updating posts in a thread, but I'll see what else this forum offers that could take the place of the Wiki. I don't necessarily want to lose it, especially after all the time and effort that has gone into it.

It's not dead at all. It's the easiest way for me to pull specific information, and it's not just for madden, the FIFA activities are taking to the place quite nicely.

Thing is, I could easily make hidden forums and groups for any and every league. We could very well replicate everything on the Wiki here.

The question, to me, is whether it's worth the effort. From a usability standpoint, I find a Wiki better for certain things like the league list compared to a forum. Both have their benefits. But having so many things isn't ideal.

PBWorks Dead? Empty FORMS

Post by Huhnerficker Wed Feb 16, 2011 12:56 pm

Is it possible to setup editable forms here? If not why don't we transfer all the PB data to Google docs and link it here. Or we could just link to PB works. lol you are right this is not an easy problem to figure out.

PBWorks Dead? Empty Re: PBWorks Dead?

Can't you edit the original post to keep it updated like with a league list? Just add a few moderators if you or whoever originates the post to keep the post updated. Seems simple enough to me unless I'm missing something here. For example if this doesn't make sense.

League List thread.

"user a" adds their email as a "reply" to the league list thread. Moderator then updates the league list adding "user a" and then deletes the reply to keep the thread clean.

Again, am I missing something here? Probably, but I usually always am.
