This past weekend saw the opening round of the Strikeforce/M1 Heavyweight Tournament. The first two quarter final fights saw:

One time at Hooters in TX, I was watching an MMA match. Beforehand, I drank an entire 6-pack of Blue Moon in about an hour and a half. While watching, I ate some delicious fried pickles and drank some more Blue Moon.

Then I puked up Blue Moon and fried pickles.

I think that should be some type of promotion commercial.

Last night history was made in New Jersey. Jonny "Bones" Jones became the youngest ever UFC champion at the age of 23, after training Mixed Martial Arts for only three years. It is an unbelievable feat from such a stunning young athlete.

April is a huge month in MMA.

First, this weekend you have Strikeforce live on Showtime:



And then at the end of the month, 55,000 people will watch UFC 129 at the Sky Dome in Toronto - this will be the biggest MMA show in North America:
