QB of the Year Controversy!

I would like to point toward the current QB of the Year Rankings:

1. Drew Brees - Saints
2. JaMarcus Austin - Steelers
3. Matt Ryan - Falcons
4. Philip Rivers - Chargers
5. Ben Roethlisberger - Redskins

So let's see, Roethlisberger is second in total yards, tied for first in total TDs and has the highest rating QB out of active quarterbacks, and he's fifth according to LM's rankings? Do interceptions really count for that much?

I also love how bogus the defensive rankings are. I've allowed the fifth most yards in the league, but I'm pretty sure I'm in the top five for takeaways, sacks and points allowed (i.e. I don't allow many points at all). We need a better formula for defensive statistics, Derek!

I'm really confused as to how Pat White isn't at the top of the list in every position for POTY.
