Cap penalty Discussion

What do you all think? What infractions should hit the bottom line?

I definitely played a game where my opponent was like 5 mil over the cap. There should be a long term penalty imposed on situations like that where the opponent gets a short term advantage by adding players they can't afford.

I think they should have a cap hit of every day they don't sign a player. And then booted if it goes longer than a week after the warning.

However the cap hit should not extend to the replacement owner.

For owners over cap. A week to fix it, then they lose draft picks in descending order. And starting with acquired picks. Instead of returning them to the old teams though, they are just eliminated. Skipped.
