Interesting Team Stats

An interesting feature in LM that I have rarely used is the team stats feature.

Some interesting things I have learned about my own team.

The Ravens are:

Last in rushing, 4th last in total offense, last in time of possession, second last in first downs, but 4th in 3rd down conversion.

Why are the redskins undefeated -

3rd in passing, 8th in rushing, 1st in 1st downs, 1st in interceptions and fumbles, just one turnover all year!, 2nd in time of possession.

How does your team stack up?

My favourite stats:

Ditans Defense has faced the 3rd MOST time of possession (189.5 mins in 10 games), but has given up the 3rd LEAST total offense (2521 yards in 10 games).

I hate the Total Offense given up stat, because it essentially only adds kick and punt returns. Punt returns are often 0 (fair catch) where kick returns are usually much longer. The Total Offense given up works against how many points you score, as the kickoff after a score leads to more Total Offense.

Other Impressive Ditans stats:

1st in Sacks - 25
2nd in 3rd Down Attempts ALLOWED - 90 (30 converted - equal 10th)
2nd in 3rd Down Conversion % (33.3%)
5th in 1st Downs Allowed (98)
=9th in INTs (15)

And on Offense:

4th in rushing (WITHOUT CJ2K!)
2ns in Offensive Penalty Yards (YAY!)

Apart from the stats Dr. Ken posted, I think the 70 percent conversion rate on 3rd down has been pretty huge for the Katskins this year.
