Best games of week 1 & vegas lines
Ravens v Bengals
Bengals 1.5 favorites although lots of public money on the ravens. Who many pundits believe might make splash this year. Bengals would be right to feel disrespected by pundits after great performance last year to make is to AFC championship game
Raiders v Broncos
Broncos 6.5 favorites. Broncos expected to start strong while owners' interest is high.
Jets v Dolphins
Dolphins 6.5 favorites. No passing yards as Charles steamrolls for at least 180 yards and 3 TDs.
Jags v Texans
Texans 5.5 favorites. Upset alert here. New rookie QB for Jags and it will take time for the Texans to adjust to Cassel's limitations.
Pats v Titans
Pats 6.5 favorites. Greg 'the quietest man in the league' Ford rivals Scott Bins for consistent inactivity in roster moves but would be keen to start well against the titans. The titans will have to learn to adjust to a world without Chris Johnson facing many in the box & fears of 80 yard TD rushes.
Steelers v Chiefs
New owner for chiefs. No vegas line
49ers v Vikings
New owner for 49ers. No Vegas line
Cowboys v Falcons
New owner for Falcons. No Vegas line
Redskins v Panthers
Redskins by 5.5. Redskins owner will be looking for quick start while the panthers limitation of Clausen remains. DRC might get three picks.
Cardinals v Buccs
Bucs by 3.5. Upset alert. Not sure why. Gut feeling
Lions v Eagles
Eagles by 3.5. Really good match-up here but the eagles might have too much speed.
Bears v Seahawks
Bears by 8.5. The Seahawks are poised for a really good year as Flacco has developed into an elite QB. However, they will start 0 - 1
Browns v Giants
Browns by 8.5. Browns expected to overcome roster sanctions in a big way. Chad 85 might get 200 yards and 3 TDs
Colts v Packers
Colts by 7.5. Packers will also be good this year after run of close losses. However, the Colts were a final drive away from winning the SB last year and should be favourites.
Rams v Bills
New rams owner. No Vegas line
Chargers v Saints
Saints by 3.5. Game of the week. Expect plenty of passing yards. Saints looking to shake off the tag of second best team in the NFC south gauntlet.

Really? I think I beat him by 14 or so last time I played him a couple of weeks ago. Todd has everything to prove and he still has the Tebow/Orton shitcake powerhouse duo at the helm. I say Raiders by 10...

Wow, Pats by 6.5?
I'm throwing down $20 on the Titans. That is VALUE!

Love the idea of this rundown, Ken. Hope it's a regular feature.
Also, I appreciate the faith, but I think you are undervaluing the Titans.
Chris is a great player who had some back luck last year. As for
inactivity...well, a lot of it is being the owner of a team that was
pretty stacked to begin with coupled with always being at the cap limit.
I have to cut people just to sign my rookies!

I also attribute it to being a fan of the team. Scott is in the same boat with the packers. He can't cut family.
As for the Ravens I try & sign people that would play for the swagger-heavy Ravens. You could see Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, and Kris Jenkins in the purple & black. I could also see Nnandi but that's another story.
As for Chris. He needs to prove he can play without the threat of Chris Johnson.

All passes are going to whichever players aren't covered by him. Until I get desperate. So 6.

Re: Best games of week 1 & vegas lines
I would honestly have a pick-em for our match up. I don't think I've played Greg before (maybe as the Rams in Mad-10).
I went 7-7 in games I actually played last year, with only 1/2 an offense and an average secondary. Greg went 8-8 with a great team.
This year I've got all my injured players back for at least 1 week, we'll see how long it lasts though.

I thought Ford was 9-7? He also beat the Colts and Chargers. You lost to the Texans, half a team or not.
Ford by 24. He's the one coming in hot here. You're limping in with a new team.

I'm putting in my default response here Suszek:
Fuck you.
I'll prove you wrong....... go Jags!

Steelers down 'Chefs' 35 - 28. Austin was 19 - 21 with 1 interception.
Lions beat Eagles 24 - 17 scoring 11 points in the 4th quarter

Austin completed 16ish passes in a row at one point following the early miscue.
