Block-Bustah Trade in San Diego and Carolina Empty Block-Bustah Trade in San Diego and Carolina

Fans were reminded why GM Dick Bae made the right move to kick Penis Rivers out of San Diego. After their season opener loss to the pillaging Vikings, GM Bae had twittered that Rivers would still be their starter despite Rivers' poor outing (17/39 attempts, 223 yards, 1TD, 2 INTs). However, after a Tuesday practice where fans came attacking Rivers with a flacid rubber cock tornado. It was clear to the fans they wanted a change again.

GM Bae contacted the Panthers owner if ex-defensive coordinator, now head coach of the Panthers, Ron Rivera was interested in trading for Rivers over to Carolina. A couple of wild offers were proposed and the two teams came to an agreement.

Chargers will be sending:
Philip Rivers QB 96A
Andrew Whitworth LT 85B

Panthers will be sending:
Cam Newton QB 77A
Jordan Gross LT 92A
James Anderson ROLB 87A
2nd round draft pick

GM Bae commented about the trade, "Carolina has a big hole that can be filled by that DTD. We are excited to see what Cam can do. Granted he may be no Nile Turner, but he could be better." This trade will take place after week 1 since the Panthers have yet to play their game.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reporting.
