Ken Burns Baseball on Netflix

Post by Huhnerficker on Fri Apr 22, 2011 3:56 pm

I have seen "Baseball" a few times over my life. Ken Burns just did such a great job with it. One thing I hadn't watched was the extra innings parts. So I wake up(late) and while checking my email decide to hit up Netflix for a good documentary.

I see Baseball on my recomended list and start up the unseen tenth inning. It starts with Atalanta and Pittsburgh in game seven of the NLCS. This is an especially tough moment for me. I watched this game as a 14 year old and with my best friend. He a Braves fan who had watched TBS and me. I loved the Pirates. Barry Bonds and Bobby Bo! I even liked me some Andy Van Slyke. That is not the reason you should not watch inning ten(unless your a Braves fan). Watching inning ten was a fun look back to that age of 14 and baseball.

Well apparently burns was executive producer rather than director of the west but it has all his hallmarks

I'd also like Peter coyote to narrate my day. He can just follow me around talking about what I do
